He was a SS officer in the Reich and has asked her to forgive his past transgressions. Not only has the woman grown up in a Jewish family, but her grandmother actually survived the Holocaust. This story has a different take on the transgressions committed during WWII, but it leaves you at the end with an incredible twist and with the question of who ultimately has the power to provide forgiveness.
