NYE Inspiration: Sequins

Jacket: Decree (old, options here and here) | Dress: Zara | Boots: Zara (option here) | Earrings: JCrew (old, option here)

When ringing in the new year, it is always fun to have on a little (or a lot ) of shine. The instant I saw this Zara dress, I knew it would be the perfect party starter. It is still winter of course, so having a long sleeve cold shoulder still provides some great coverage. Love!

NYE is just days away, and I am sure everyone is digging through their closets or the holiday sales to find the perfect look. This season's it fabric - velvet - would provide the perfect lux look. I like to go a little unexpected and found this awesome romper on sale that is easy and comfortable to wear. Pair with shiny tights and cool jewelry to dress it up. Now who is ready for a cocktail?!

Check back here for the next few days to find more NYE inspirations. :)

Christmas Red

Coat: GAP (old, similar here) | Shirt: Zara | Overalls: Madewell

Christmas is only a few days away! I still have a few things on my to do list to complete - always the procrastinator. But nothing gets me in the spirit more than Michael Buble's Christmas carols singing throughout the house. I love this season! :)

I can't believe it is December! So with the holidays upon on us, I am already dressing festive in gold, silver and lux fabrics.  My favorite for the season is the come back of velvet - great texture and color registration. Perfect for day time or any of those upcoming holiday parties. :)

Neutral Plaids

Happy belated Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a great time with family and/or friends. I spent the weekend with my family; drinking wine, eating way too many sweets, playing croquet, and of course doing a little antiquing. No trip to Waco is without hours spent at the Magnolia market and surrounding businesses. If you haven't tried their bakery yet - it is a must. I recommend the Lemon Lavender cupcake as a staple and for the holidays the Wonderland cupcake. Always a good time!

Today's photo shoot is courtesy of my sister. We obviously spent too much time with funny poses and joking around. The outtakes I will keep to myself. Haha! :)
