Soft Thermal

Top: Free People | Jeans: JCrew on sale! | Boots: Target (similar here) | Jewelry: Kendra Scott necklace

Happy Friday! I seriously cannot get enough of Free People lately. The instant I tried this thermal top on, it had to come home with me. It is incredibly soft and comfortable. Definitely something you could live in. :)

Another NYFW has come and gone. Check out some key trends for F15.

1. Bold High Neck - looks like turtlenecks in all forms are making a come back. Whether in chunky sweaters or sheer beaded details, it is an important look that many designers were capturing this season.

2. Extravagant Outerwear - This fall season, outerwear again plays a huge importance. And it is not your standard song and dance. Furs are still around but not necessarily allover, beading details, jacquard and embroidery, patterns. Why not looking amazing in the winter starting from the top most layer?

3. Fringe Benefits - Represented in a small way, but still a detail that lives into F15.

4. Lace Up - I saw a few representations of the lace up shirt. Maybe a trend on the horizon as we go into SP16.

The award show of all awards...OSCAR! Finally tonight and some great fashion choices. Usually I talk about trends and then my favorites, but I am going to switch it up a little this year.

My top favs based on how stunning and unique they were overall. From the amazing bead work to the simplicity of jewelry statements. Absolutely top notch.

Now on to themes. Top color of the night was really surprising in this beige, taupe, almost white tone in some fabrics. Each one very different in silhouette and design, but shocking as a color choice for so many.

And of course you can't have the red carpet without red. Love the detail of each of these gowns, and that a man went the distance this year with their suit selection.
