Lumberjack

Jacket: Gap (old, similar here) | Shortall: American Eagle Outfitters | Shirt: JCrew (other options here and here) | Sandals: Target

I wish I had more opportunities to layer in the summer, but unfortunately it can be bloody hot in Texas. Silver lining...thunderstorms that provide a little relief. Trying some new pairings today to spice up my shortalls. I like the idea of layering a casual jacket or soft blazer to make it less "country" as my husband likes to call the overall trend. Though I am pretty sure today's look might be lumberjack adjacent. Still love it. :)

Sheer Floral

Dress: Urban Outfitters (old, similar options here, here and here) | Bag: Urban Outfitters (similar here) | Sandals: Target

Just another fun floral maxi today. I've had this one for awhile, but it took me some time to find good undergarments since it is basically sheer. (You can't tell from the photos). So I took inspiration from the celeb circuit and added high waisted retro shorts to provide coverage. Not too shabby.

Subtle Print

Pants: Zara (old, like option here) | Shoes: Topshop | Jewelry: JewelMint, Michael Kors watch

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am ready to fast forward a week, where I will be on a beach with my family. It will be nice to have a change of scenery. Now I just need to figure out what to pack. :)

Ease

I can't get enough of the loose, soft pant. I find it to be the best option for hot summer days. This style is from a past season, but there are other options available that provide the same look. I continue to say that Zara does it best...definitely one of my favorite stores to shop.

casual + dress

Tank: Zara (other stripe options here and here) | Pants: Converse One Star (similar here) | Hat: JCrew | Sandals: SoftMoc

Happy Tuesday! I'm in love with this type of casual dress up that has been hanging around: sweatshirts with skirts, sweatpants with blazers, tennis shoes with dresses. It is a fun way to re-look at your wardrobe options.
