Sun Day

Happy Saturday! Finally catching up on some reading this weekend while enjoying the beautiful weather. :)

Jacket: F21 | Dress: Urban Outfitters | Tights: DKNY | Heels: Sam & Libby | Jewelry: JCrew, Urban Outfitters | Clutch: Michael Kors

Valentine's Day is just a week away, and I am sure stores will be filled this weekend with girls trying to find the perfect dress. Black and red are usually the go-to colors for the holiday. My suggestion is to find something unexpected and stand out. Who doesn't love the wow factor?

Black Floral

Jacket: JCrew | Peplum Top: Tinley Road (old, similar version) | Skirt: Prabal Gurung for Target | Tights: DKNY | Jewelry: JewelMint | Bag: Steven by Steve Madden

Double Denim

Jacket: I Heart Ronson (old, love this version) | Shirt: Urban Outfitters (old, similar here) | Pants: Madewell (old) | Shoes: ShoeMint | Jewelry: JewelMint

The latest JCrew catalog sparked some much needed inspiration. I love how their stylist mixes unexpected pieces to make a great look. Today I borrowed the denim on denim combo. Why just stop with top to bottom denim when you can layer too! Important note when creating this look is to have denim of different shades. Mine are a little too close, but girl has to work with what she has. :)

Over Coat

Coat: Zara (sold out, similar here and here) | Sweater: Sonoma | Jeans: Gap | Boots: Sam Edelman (old, similar here) | Jewelry: JewelMint

Over sized car coats are the newest trend of the winter season. I might have gone a little overboard with mine on the large sizing as I purchased it online prior to trying it on, but I still love it. It is like disappearing into a outerwear version of the snuggie; warm and cozy.

Broncos Baby!

Tee: NFL Shop | Jacket: Nordstrom (old) | Jeans: JCrew (old) | Belt: Michael Kors | Boots: Steve Madden

It is finally Superbowl Sunday! And what a bitter cold Sunday it is...eek! My husband has been on the edge of the couch all season rooting for his Broncos, so of course he was thrilled when they made it to today's Superbowl. Though we are not in his hometown of Denver nor are we at the Superbowl, our house is decked out in orange and blue and we are ready for the final win of the season. GO BRONCOS!
